A couple of months ago, I offered you some pretty phone lock screens (or wallpapers) to focus your mind on the word of God. The world has changed a bit since then, and you may find yourself in need of some extra encouragement right now. Make the screen you see 96 times(!) per day a message that will transform your mind for the better.
During this time of staying safe at home, my mind has become a mushy goop of emotions. And based off of what I’ve been seeing on Facebook and Instagram, I’m not the only one whose mind swings back and forth between worry and hope, panic and relief, disgust and gratitude. Which means you may be also feeling these same things.
Since our phones are tools we must use, let’s use them as tools for good. I hope these screens will help you focus your mind on worship and faith over worry and fear.
I may even be a little bit OCD, and I created blank pictures that coordinate with the pictures with words on them. I use the one with words as my lock screen and the blank one for my home screen. I have placed the pairs together side by side, but you can choose which ever colors you like.
Instructions: On your phone, hold your finger on the image and select save. If you’re on a computer, save the picture, then email it to yourself, open it on your phone and save it. Then you can use the picture as wallpaper—select lock screen or home screen. You can pinch your fingers on the screen to adjust the size, if necessary.
There is a plain white photo that coordinates with “My feet are on the rock.”
I hope these encourage you as you focus on whatever is good in these days of COVID-19. Comment below with your favorite one!
